Millennium was designed specifically for Microsoft Windows, using the latest 32-bit PC based operating systems and database technology that allows for virtually unlimited data storage and access with extraordinarily flexible data integration capabilities. Add ECCApcinput or ECCAonline to be able view everything from a single check to a complete payroll register before you transmit your payroll to ECCA for processing. In addition, because all of the data and calculating power is at your fingertips, manual checks can be quickly calculated, printed, and saved in the simple, yet extremely powerful Check Calculator Wizard. ECCA is the perfect blend of local business people and nationally recognized payroll software systems. System security - With ECCA’s software, you can secure your data and give access to specific information to specific employees by limiting access based on any possible grouping of employees or any field in the employee database. User rights are at the module and screen level, allowing full, read-only, or no access to each module and/or screen. In addition, Millennium logs every change made to each table in the database, storing the old and the new values, the data and time of the change, as well as the user who made the change. Check signing and sealing – ECCA can laser sign your checks, fold, seal, and deliver them ready for distribution. By pressure sealing the checks, you eliminate the need for an envelope. You are afforded the ultimate in payroll check convenience and confidentiality. Unlimited earnings and deductions – ECCA clients can define a limitless number of earning and deduction types. ECCA’s staff can program complex custom earning and deduction calculations directly into the software to save you payroll preparation time. Unlimited direct deposits – ECCA clients can directly deposit employees’ net pay amounts, a percentage of their net pay amount, or a flat dollar amount to unlimited bank accounts. ECCA does all its direct deposit transactions through a single bank to streamline the process and make direct deposits more reliable and accessible for all clients, no matter where they bank. Direct deposits are automatically deposited into employees’ accounts each payday. There are no longer any difficulties in paying sick, traveling, or just out of the office employees. New hire reporting – Federal and State legislation requires employers to report all new or rehired employees. ECCA can file the information directly with the State on your behalf or provide you a report that can be used to mail to the appropriate State. The new hire report details all employees that have met the criteria for a new hire filing. Unlimited reports with each payroll – ECCA’s software is integrated seamlessly with Crystal Reports, the most powerful report writer on the market. Not only is there a standard library of over 100 reports, but also Crystal Reports allows the customization of reports for each client, based on company-specific criteria with minimal effort. Users can access unlimited years worth of payroll and human resource information in a single report. There is also a built-in report writer that allows users to create their own simple reports. All standard reports, as well as custom reports, can be configured to each client’s specification. Reports can be run on any frequency. Third party checks and direct deposits – ECCA calculates third party payments (i.e. garnishments, child support, etc.) and produces checks or electronically transfers funds for any combination of deductions and/or benefits. Any deduction or earning can be set up on either an individual employee or company-wide level to produce a third party check or direct deposit. Additional information, such as case numbers, can be entered in our system and printed on third party checks. Time off accrual – With ECCA’s payroll system, you can create unlimited time off accrual codes to track your employees’ paid time off. Each code can accrue on any frequency, such as an employee’s anniversary date or on a per hour basis. Each accrual code can accrue or reduce based on a single earnings code or a defined set of earnings codes. Time off hours and dollar balance can also be displayed on employees’ check stubs as needed. General ledger interfaces – ECCA can map your payroll data into the most complex general ledger layouts. All earnings, deductions, taxes, billing, and third party checks can be easily mapped based on where employees’ labor is distributed. ECCA’s GL interface can generate journal entries for integration with most modern general ledger accounting systems. Time clock interfaces – ECCA’s software automatically imports data from all major time clocks and POS systems like Infotronics and Kronos. A custom time import feature allows users to modify the import process to work with virtually any other time and attendance system. This integrated import functionality expedites the entire payroll process by effortlessly loading the current pay information into the payroll system. Once this data is loaded, ECCA’s software generates an audit report to verify the accuracy of the data imported. There are two-way interfaces to eliminate double entry with your time clock. ECCA has the ability to display time clock punches on employees’ pay stubs. Retirement plan reporting and file generation – ECCA’s software can calculate and report the most complex retirement plans. ECCA has created file formats for nearly every major 401k provider in the nation and will create new file formats - at no additional charge – for clients who need customized pensions, 401k, or 403b matching calculations. Labor and job costing – Labor distribution can be imported from a time clock, entered into the payroll entry screen or allocated on a percentage basis. All earnings, deductions, and taxes can be distributed, as needed, based on the employee’s department. Union reporting – Many clients’ union reporting needs have been automated by updating rate changes globally and allowing clients to produce complex union reports directly from ECCA’s payroll system. |
